5 Simple Ways To Make Salmon Even More Delicious

Salmon is an ideal choice for those who follow a healthy, balanced diet. It’s a superfood packed with protein, beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Baked Honey Soy Salmon

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 700g salmon fillet
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix the soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, and olive oil together.
  2. Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillet in a container and pour the marinade over it.
  4. Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  6. Place the salmon in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 15–20 minutes.
  7. Serve with vegetables of your choice.

Baked Salmon with Tomatoes, Leeks, and Capers

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 700g salmon fillet
  • 200g cherry tomatoes
  • 200g leek
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp marjoram (dried or fresh)
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 5g olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Mix the soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper together.
  2. Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and the leek into rings. Sauté them in olive oil, then place them on top of the salmon.
  4. Add the capers and marjoram.
  5. Cover the salmon with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes at 180°C.

Baked Salmon with Mustard

Ingredients:

  • 700g salmon fillet
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1–2 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce together.
  2. Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. Bake the salmon for 15–20 minutes at 180°C .

Baked Salmon with Oranges and Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 700g salmon fillet
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • 2 tsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp pink peppercorns

Instructions:

  1. Mix the teriyaki sauce with the grated garlic and ginger.
  2. Place the salmon on parchment paper and brush with the marinade.
  3. Cover the salmon with orange slices and drizzle with olive oil. Lightly salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes at 160°C.

Baked Salmon with Lemon and Rosemary

Ingredients:

  • 700g salmon fillet
  • 1 lemon
  • 3–4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish. Brush with olive oil and grated garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the rosemary sprigs and thinly sliced lemon rounds.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 15–20 minutes.
